Cape Cod Oil & Propane is a Cape Cod heating-fuel company that, by its own account, was founded in Provincetown in 1974, and one recent customer said it came out at 4 PM on New Year's Eve once when they had let the oil run dry. Its website says it delivers residential and commercial fuels and installs, maintains and repairs oil-fired boilers, furnaces, burners and propane tanks across Cape Cod. The company says Mike Tasha started it with one delivery truck and one service van, and that it is family-owned, with operations overseen by Halcyone, Hurst and Cheryl Tasha. A 2026 customer said that when they were snowed in, the company reached out immediately, they cleared a path for the truck, and it came back shortly after and delivered their oil.
