In September 2026 a Google reviewer summed up a visit to Casella's Williston yard at 357 Avenue C as "Quick loading park on street before you go in to check-in." Casella describes itself on its BBB page as an integrated waste management company for commercial, residential and municipal clients, and its website says it has been in business 50 years. A July 2025 trucker picked up a truckload of baled cardboard there, found check-in smooth and the employees friendly, and was quickly loaded and on the way. A November 2023 reviewer warned that there is virtually no signage: park on the road in front of the building and walk into the office rather than getting on the scale. In January 2026 a renter said trash had not been picked up in weeks, allegedly because of snow, and the dumpster was overflowing. The same day a customer of 10+ years cancelled, writing that Casella rarely picks up when it is supposed to and that phone waits run 30+ minutes. A March 2022 reviewer reported being missed on 3 of the past 4 pickup days while neighbors were serviced, and a January 2022 renter described weekly calls for three months because the recycling was not picked up, with drivers marking it picked up when it was not. A May 2025 reviewer described being woken at 5:30 every Thursday morning by Casella's garbage trucks for years, and an October 2023 reviewer made the same complaint about 5:30 to 6:00 AM pickups. A June 2025 reviewer said they were charged twice, and a March 2023 reviewer said a driver damaged their property and Casella would not repair it. In November 2024 a customer praised the driver who delivered and picked up their dumpster rental in a tight spot. Casella holds a B grade from the Better Business Bureau, with 252 complaints on file there, and the BBB page carries complaints about missed pickups and billing.
