Casey Electrical Services holds a 4.7-star average across 140 Google ratings, and its BBB page shows an A+ grade. On its website the company says it has 7 years in the industry, specializes primarily in commercial electrical work and has a team of 30+ technicians. A 2026 customer described an older-house job that included a separate 15A feed to the bedroom receptacles, a new 20A circuit replacing the cloth wiring to the furnace, and new Romex to the ceiling fans. That customer said Eamonn, the electrician assigned, cleaned up each section of the house as he finished. A 2025 customer said Dylan installed an Eco Flow Smart Panel 2 and came back on his own time to put the well breaker back in the main panel; the problem turned out to be the customer's own circuit labeling. A 2025 customer said Darrell found three outlets, including the fridge outlet, linked to a GFI outlet that kept tripping and turning off a new fridge. A 2025 customer said 6 can lights, 3 replacement lights and two fire alarms went in with no prior wiring and no overhead access, and the work finished quicker than estimated. A 2023 customer said what began as a small project turned into rewiring the whole house, which had never been grounded, and that it passed inspection. A 2022 customer said Josh Casey, the owner, inspected the home and rearranged his schedule so the crew could stay the week as they kept finding problems. A 2025 customer said a confirmation voicemail went unanswered and no one showed up the next day. A 2022 customer said the tech could not fix either an outside outlet or a smart thermostat C wire and called it a wasted $215. A 2026 customer said the company would not give the free home estimate its Google ad promised. In a 2025 review signed by Generators OnDemand of Old Lyme, CT, the buyer of the company's generator service accounts wrote that Josh had collected service payments on those accounts before transferring them and had not paid the reimbursement he agreed to. It holds an active Connecticut E1 electrical contractor licence, ELC.0203459-E1, under Joshua H Casey.
I highly recommend Casey Electrical Services! From the initial estimate through completion of the project, they were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I called Casey Electrical Services and they were able to come out and provide me with a quote within a few days. Tyler came out, walked through the whole house with me, carefully took notes on everything I wanted to have done, and had the detailed quote in my email within just a few hours. After I electronically accepted the quote, the work was scheduled for the following Tuesday and Wednesday. Eamonn was the electrician assigned to my project, and I couldn’t have been happier with his work. He was punctual, professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Throughout the project, he kept me informed about what he was working on and offered his professional opinion when he saw opportunities to improve something or make things work better. He also took pride in his work and cleaned up each section of the house as he finished. That really stood out to me because electrical work throughout an older house can get messy, and Eamonn made sure everything was left clean and organized. Casey Electrical is very lucky to have Eamonn. He isn’t just a great electrician—he is also a fantastic representative of the company and a great example of what an employee should be. I genuinely appreciated how much he cared about doing the job correctly and making sure I was happy with the work. The work completed included: • Installing a 15A feed for basement back-room lighting, including a switch and switch leg for future lighting needs • Installing a 20A circuit for an outlet located below the electrical panel • Installing a new 20A circuit to replace the existing cloth wiring serving the furnace, including maintaining a 3-foot service loop • Running a new, separate 15A feed from the panel to the bedroom receptacles so each bedroom is on its own circuit • Running a new 20A feed to the kitchen for future countertop outlets • Installing a 15A feed for the bathroom fan and vanity light, also supplying attic lighting from this circuit • Replacing the old dryer outlet with a new outlet • Replacing old cloth wiring from bedroom switches to ceiling fans with new Romex • Installing switches for existing closet lighting • Installing two additional switches in the hallway Overall, I had an excellent experience with Casey Electrical Services. The communication was great, the work was done professionally, and I felt like my home was treated with care and respect throughout the project. I will definitely be using Casey Electrical Services again for future electrical work, and I sincerely hope Eamonn is assigned to my next project as well. Thank you to Tyler, Eamonn, and the entire Casey Electrical Services team for a job well done!
Andrew from Casey Electric is a true gentleman and a scholar. professional, respectful, knowlegable Master Electrician with superb driving skills!
CES has been excellent every step of the way. I appreciate their diligence and professionalism. I would definitely recommend and continue to use them for electrical needs. Also, my friend used them for instillation of a whole generator system!
Google ad isn’t accurate, they won’t give you a free home estimate for the work even though their ad says so, proceed with caution.
Darrell came out to change out a dining room ceiling mounted light and fix a recurring fridge issue. He discovered the three outlets including my fridge outlet had been linked to a GFI outlet and one was even still on a dimmer, thereby resulting in the constant turning off of my brand new fridge as it tripped the GFI (and a whole fridge’s worth of spoiled food). The company was very professional and prompt; I highly recommend them. I plan to ask them to come out for additional work now that I’ve moved recently.
