A 2022 reviewer said the company installed a generator more than three years earlier that worked fine, but when selling the house found it never got the CO from the town. That customer said 10-20 messages asking them to come back went unanswered, and it cost another $450 to bring the job up to code. The company has appeared in ctinsider.com coverage.

“workers from Griffin Electrical Contractors of Southington hit the switch on the main generators, 600 amps to power the village”
Solid firm with a great reputation.
I've worked with Griffin Electrical for our residential generator installation, as well as commercial lighting, and electrical work. Ken is very knowledgable. The work is always done on time. they are fair priced. I wouldn't ask anything else to do work for us than them.
They installed a generator three+ years ago. Works fine. But when I went to sell my house I found out they didn’t get the CO from the town. I left 10-20 messages to ask them to come back and complete the job. I got no response other than someone will get back to you. No one ever did. Now I find out the job wasn’t done right and it cost me another $450 to get it up to code. I would not recommend them for generator. Or don’t pay them until they complete the job. Very unprofessional after the fact. I guess they had my money so completing the job wasn’t necessary.
