I recently moved from Connecticut to upstate New York, and I was very insecure about hiring a moving company, because I heard many horror stories. I decided to go with Castle Express because they had generally favorable reviews and I was very happy about it. The move went extremely smoothly. The truck was punctual and the movers were very professional and friendly. The move went faster than I expected. They wrapped our furniture properly and everything arrived in perfect condition, even some mirrors and wall paintings that we didn’t have time to properly wrap. On the new house, the movers (Luis and Rafael) were very careful with moving furniture upstairs in small corridors, and didn’t damage the new house. We had described the furniture we had ahead of the move, and we paid exactly what was agreed, with no surprises. I was very pleased with the experience and would highly recommend Castle Express to anyone that wants to avoid stress on moving day!
They came recommended from a friend who knows the owner. Glad I took his recommendation. Their movers took great care in getting our large and HEAVY furniture our of our 2nd floor walkup apartment.
They were prompt and friendly. The time it took was only slightly longer than the original quote. I'd use them to move again in a heartbeat.
