City Mirror & Glass Co

An antique hand-held mirror, a bedroom window a kid put through, a frameless shower enclosure for a master bath: the jobs people bring to City Mirror & Glass have little in common except glass. The Lowell shop at 90 Lincoln St says it has traded since 1950, family-owned across four generations, supplying and installing shower doors, mirrors, glass and windows for homes and businesses from the Merrimack Valley into southern New Hampshire. Shower glass runs through four of the customer accounts, spread from 2021 to 2025. A November 2021 customer had a frameless shower door, mirrors and glass shelves put into a master bathroom, and said Chris came out to measure right away and the order arrived sooner than expected; a September 2021 reviewer recommended them for shower glass installation. In November 2025, a homeowner who needed a door for a newly installed walk-in shower called the pricing reasonable and the work prompt and professional. On Reddit in July 2025, a Lowell poster named the Lincoln St shop for their own shower door and said they were good to work with. The counter side of the business shows up just as clearly. In September 2025, a parent brought in the window his kid had smashed and had it back a few days later at a price he called right. In August 2025, Josh overlaid a new mirror onto an extremely old hand-held mirror whose original glass would not come out. A September 2025 customer they could not supply was told which part he needed and who to get it from — and in October 2021, a picture-frame glass was recut at no charge after the customer gave the wrong dimensions the first time. Two of the 17 written reviews are one-star. In May 2022, a customer who said he had ordered there many times described his wife coming in and finding the employee in the back rude and unprofessional, and said they would stop using the shop. In September 2023, a man with a broken camper window said he was lied to about what type of glass it was and what it needed. For shower enclosures, mirrors, and one-off pieces cut or fabricated to size, this is the kind of shop that still measures and delivers itself. Bring your dimensions, settle the price and the lead time before you order, and for an installed job ask who is coming out to fit it.
