CJ Insulation is an Orland insulation outfit hired for attics, crawlspaces, basements and walls. A recent customer hired Chris and his team to blow dense pack cellulose into an attic and spray foam a crawlspace; they arrived on time, and the customer said the cost was affordable compared to what the bigger companies were charging. When a scheduling error kept a recent customer from using CJ, he called to make sure the error was understood and came to give an overview anyway. A 2025 customer said they removed old insulation, installed new, and gave a discount because they didn't use as much material as expected; that customer described two generations working side by side. A 2025 reviewer wrote that they did an attic crawlspace and basement joists, built a new insulated hatch for the attic, and took care of the Efficiency Maine rebate paperwork. A 2024 customer said Chris sprayed the walls and sills of an unfinished basement and did a blower door test. In a 2022 review, a customer said the company quoted attic sealing and insulation, insulation in the floor of a small addition and spray foam in the basement, and that Casey (Chris' son) took pictures to show the progress. A 2021 customer said CJ and his crew eliminated the mold in a very large electrical room, spray foamed and painted the walls and put in fire-retardant ceiling insulation, doing everything in two days and saving over 7 grand compared to a mold company.
I hired Chris and his team to blow dense pack cellulose in my attic and spray foam in my crawlspace. They arrived on-time and got right to work. To my novice eye they did a fantastic job and did it efficiently. In a day and age where it can be tough to get a call back from contractors, let alone an affordable quote, don't hesitate to reach out to CJ Insulation! The communication was great throughout the process and the cost was affordable compared to what the bigger companies were charging. Many thanks to Chris and his fam!
Because of a scheduling error, I wasn't able to use CJ, but he called me to make sure that the error was understood, and came to give me an overview anyway. This is the guy you want working on your home. Not everyone goes out of their way to follow up with you.
Chris and his team did an incredible job! Our house finally feels comfortable to live in, and the improvement in warmth is outstanding. Their pricing was very fair, especially considering the quality of work, and it’s clear they run an honest, trustworthy operation. For the amount of work they did, they left almost no trace of ever being here—aside from the huge improvement in our home’s comfort. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone needing insulation done right!!!
Fantastic service and quality work! This is a family affair, with two generations working side by side. But they also bring a big crew who are all hardworking and professional. They removed our old insulation, installed new, and even gave us a discount because they didn't use as much material as expected. Clean-up before, during, and after installation was stellar. All this was done in 90 degree heat and high humidity with good cheer and no complaints. Their quote was lower than other vendors too. This is a great local family-owned business.
I hired CJ Insulation to do dense pack cellulose in my walls and spray foam for a small section of roof decking. They did an amazing job - high quality work, professional communication, and thorough cleanup. They brought integrity and craftsmanship to their work. Very impressed.
