Quantum Insulators

"Spray foam for the joists under the cottage is a game changer," an October 2026 Google reviewer wrote of Quantum Insulators, adding that it is much warmer inside now. The Belmont, Maine company holds 4.7 stars from 49 Google ratings. In September 2026 a customer on Vinalhaven wrote that not all companies service the island but Quantum does, and that because it was already coming out for other jobs it extended its time there to add their project; contractors working on other parts of the house were impressed with the preparation, the foam application and the clean-up. Another September 2026 customer wrote that Quantum spray foamed their entire house. In October 2026 a reviewer wrote that Heather and the crew were prompt, professional and easy to reach from quote to install. In a September 2025 review, a customer wrote that the crew finished spray foaming the walls and ceiling of their weird-shaped tiny house in a few hours, at a cost similar to Rockwool plus doing the labor themselves. A November 2025 customer had rock wool put in their cellar and wrote that the crew left it cleaner than when they arrived. In August 2024 a customer described closed cell in the ceiling and open cell in the walls on a total gut job in Belfast, with Heather communicative throughout. In a November 2025 one-star review, a caller who said upfront it was a small job wrote that Heather never mentioned a $2,500 daily fee regardless of square footage, and that they learned of it only after sending pictures and measurements. In July 2025 a customer wrote that the woman who answered the phone said someone would look at their camp insulation project and call with an estimate, and they never heard back. A May 2026 reviewer gave four stars for work that filled every nook and cranny of the framing at a reasonable price, but wrote that there was some overspray on the edges of the subfloor and shavings left to sweep up.
