CJP Staircases & Custom Woodworking is a Winthrop shop for the pieces of a house that get built rather than bought: kitchen cabinets designed, built and installed to fit, built-in bookcases and TV centers, free-standing furniture, mudrooms and interior staircases. It also installs interior millwork. Seven projects sit on its Houzz page, and they run from home built-ins — a set of built-in cabinets in Newton — to two Boston restaurant fit-outs. The shop is at 82 Locust St and gives its service area as "All mass areas". A call worth making if you want cabinetry or a staircase made for one specific room instead of ordered from a catalog. Ask to see finished work close to what you have in mind, and how design, build and installation are scheduled.
