Donna Flecchia runs Classic Fauxs & Finishes as a one-woman decorative-painting studio out of Burlington, and the reviews on file read less like ordinary painting jobs and more like small art commissions. A 2022 review describes hand-painted floors with the color palette and layout worked out with the client — 'her execution was flawless,' the homeowner wrote, calling Donna the one trade on their whole renovation who delivered perfectly. Other reviews describe stenciled bathroom and bedroom walls, a bathroom vanity refinished so smooth it felt 'almost like glass,' and a brick fireplace given a custom stone-plaster glaze color-matched to the room instead of the standard whitewash pink. The written record spans 2015 through 2022 across Houzz and the BBB — a dated one, with nothing on file more recent, but it holds a consistent thread: precision on jobs most painters wouldn't take on. A 2017 review of a cabinet refinishing job noted that even the replacement screws were touched up with an antique bronze wash so they wouldn't stand out against the new finish. A 2015 review described her sticking with a technically difficult faux-finish wall match — needed after water damage forced two walls to be rebuilt — researching the technique and consulting other faux finishers rather than settling for an approximate match; it took longer than either side expected, but the customer came away pleased. The BBB lists the sole proprietorship as running since 2010, with an A+ grade and no complaints or government actions on file. Because this is a one-person operation built around custom, technique-heavy work — stenciling, faux and plaster finishes, hand-painted floors and furniture, cabinet refinishing, fireplace refacing — expect a real design conversation and sample rounds before work starts, and build in some schedule flexibility for anything technically unusual. For decorative or specialty finish work rather than a standard repaint, this is a strong, if boutique, option.

We could not have been more pleased with our painted floors. Donna did a great job from helping select paint colors to laying out the design. Her execution was flawless. We get lots of compliments. Donna is both an artist and a real professional. Of all the trades we worked with on our renovation, Donna was the only one who delivered perfectly and was a pleasure to work with!
I just had my full bathroom and bedroom done in 2 different stencil patterns by Donna Flecchia and the results are fabulous . Donna is very easy to work with and made suggestions and proposed ideas that I never would have thought of. We were both flexible and I enjoyed working with her through the process. He work is custom to my taste and the outcome looks stunning. I would highly recommend her for any project you may be contemplating as she is very talented. I'm very pleased that I was able to find her to enhance the decor of my house.
We had Donna modernize a kitchen with 50 year old cabinets, which we wanted to keep because of the quality of their construction. She did an incredible job. Her eye for color and attention to detail is awesome. Couldn't be happier. Sharon
