CN Brown Energy

A 2025 Google customer said they called CN Brown Energy for a delivery with temperatures below zero and the gauge on empty, and five minutes later the C.N. Brown truck was "spooling out his hose." That 2025 customer wrote that the truck delivered more than enough fuel to carry them over until a heating tech could change the vent pipe. The company says it has been in business 78 years, and its website lists a service area that includes Berlin, Gorham, Conway, Lancaster and Colebrook. In a 2025 review, a customer said the company accidentally put the oil in the wrong tank, then came right over the next day to fill theirs, and that Wayne showed them how to understand the tank. A 2025 customer who described themselves as a new home owner said Kirsten was knowledgeable and easy to speak to. A 2025 reviewer wrote that they had dealt with CN Brown for the past 10 years and found the staff pleasant and very knowledgeable. In a 2021 review, a customer praised the friendly staff and very fast delivery. In a 2023 review, a part owner of property in Berlin and Gorham said their partner called the Berlin office to change the checking account, but money was withdrawn from the wrong account, causing $250 in fees; that reviewer wrote that the company lost them as customers. A 2023 propane customer in Gorham said they were told a vacation home could not go on automatic delivery, ran out of propane, and were told to show up with cash for an emergency delivery instead of using their card. That 2023 reviewer also wrote they had been very happy with the company's oil division. A 2022 customer with multiple buildings on automatic fill said the company had failed to deliver on time for the third time that year, leaving them running space heaters to keep pipes from freezing. In a 2021 review, a customer said they ordered 150 gallons, had 100 delivered, and were told the company was not coming back out.
