I’ve been with this company for two years, and unfortunately, customer service has consistently been a problem. Almost every time I call during normal business hours, no one answers and I’m sent to voicemail. Today I wanted to rent a dumpster, but once again, I couldn’t get anyone on the phone, so I had no choice but to use another company. After two years of dealing with the same issue, I’ve decided it’s time to switch to RWS. Reliable communication should be a basic part of doing business.

With Colonial the customer comes first. I had missed the change in schedule and had a bunch of Christmas trash. I called and asked if there was any chance that the truck could come back . It came back 2 hours later and picked up the trash

Exceptional people and service. 24 years and every week every month every year superb. As a contractor I appreciate above and beyond. I have missed more than my fair share getting the container to the curb and every single time the office made arrangements to have it picked up the subsequent day. In this day and age it is greatly appreciated to have excellence at work.

I was with them for a while, not sure why I stayed. I can't remember how many times I had to go out and pickup garbage in my driveway or on the road they dropped from the truck, and didn't pickup. They would take things out of my garbage and put them in my yard or half in the road. When I called about it they said they can't take metal. They were tent stakes from a toy tent that I was able to bend in half with my hands,. They said it could damage the truck. I finally canceled and asked for a refund of my remaining balance, 3 times they said check is in the mail never saw a penny. I would stay away. I ended up putting in a complaint with BBB and they never responded to them either. Good, now they will get a negative review on BBB for 3 years. Switched to a bigger company no mess no issues, and not woken up at 5am from some idiot banging the garbage can back and forth on the truck.

I was a Colonial customer for 15yrs and just canceled. I'd been close to canceling a number of times previously for a variety of reasons, but their service has gone way downhill recently. Their driver would pick through my trash bin on an almost weekly basis and deposit anything he found questionable onto my front lawn. It was all legitimate garbage in my mind, but he thought otherwise apparently. If you're looking for trash pickup from a service whose drivers aren't trying to play garbage police, I suggest you look elsewhere.
