Commercial Paving of Maine is a paving company that says it has been in business 78 years, and its HomeAdvisor profile describes a 4th-generation paving contractor providing asphalt services since 1948. One customer said the company was doing a neighbor's property and offered to do theirs as well; they went from planning the front strip to paving the entire driveway and said it came out awesome. A customer who had a dirt driveway paved called the company prompt and professional. One customer said the agreed price was increased on the day of installation and that they were left with the added cost of extensive landscaping to finish the job. After three tries to reach the company, that customer was told the owner would be over the following week — "that was 3 weeks ago" — and had already contacted another company to redo the work at added expense. Someone living near one of its job sites said they found trash from the workers' lunches in their yard every day, new ruts on their land from skid steers, and a broken rake thrown in the bushes. digitalmaine.com carries an item headed "In the Matter of: Lushie Stanley and Commercial Paving of Maine Inc. - Assurance of Discontinuance, Consent Judgment, 2023".

We didn’t plan on paving our driveway, but we knew it needed to be done. These guys were doing a neighbors property and offered to do ours as well. We were going to do the front strip, but decided to go ahead and do the entire driveway. It came out awesome, and we know our customers won’t be falling in any potholes, our dollys will roll smoother, and our house just looks better! Highly recommend Commercial Paving of Maine!
Recently did a job near my house and everyday I found trash from their workers lunches in my yard and new ruts on my land from their skid steers. Today I found a broken rake they just threw in the bushes instead of taking care of. Bunch of slobs
was very disappointed with results. Trusted this to what i thought were the experts Increased agreed upon price day of installation Was very detailed in describing what i wanted the results to be. feel i was not heard at all. Left me with an add'l cost of extensive landscaping to finish job. tried to contact 3 times. 3rd time was told owner would be over following week, that was 3 weeks ago. will contact lawyer & have already contacted another co. to redo correctly at added expense. Some problems are safety & some are constructional concern. Would just like my $ returned & have done with this co,. My advice is do your homework thoroughly before hiring, not all companies are created equally.
