Commonwealth Wildlife Control is an animal removal company in Revere, MA. In its Angi self-description, the company says that since 1982 it has specialized in animal removal of all kinds, naming squirrels, racoons, skunks, bats, ground hogs, moles, birds, opossums and snakes. In its self-description on the Better Business Bureau, the company says it was established in 1985 in Massachusetts, employs 3 people, and names Mr. Daniel McLean as the owner. In a 2008 HomeAdvisor review of a weekend bat call, Dan arrived within 2 hours of the phone call on a Saturday morning and removed a bat from the living area. In that same 2008 review, David came early on Sunday morning with a roofer; they located two holes high up on the roof, fixed the flashing and installed exit-only doors for the bats still inside. In a 2006 HomeAdvisor review, they came out right away and put up a cage, and when it caught nothing they installed a one way door, which worked. In a 2020 HomeAdvisor review, Dan from Commonwealth Wildlife Control explained everything he was going to do, and the reviewer wrote, "now I am Squirrel free." In another 2020 HomeAdvisor review, they came out a couple of times, set traps and freed a groundhog in the wild. There are complaints from earlier years. In a 2009 HomeAdvisor review of a squirrel job, the company did not respond to telephone calls, which made it impossible to check on the status of a job that went on for days. In a separate 2009 HomeAdvisor review, after a missed first appointment and 3 unreturned phone calls, the reviewer was told a new animal problem was not covered under the 2-year warranty and paid a "discounted" $300 for 30 minutes of work. A 2003 HomeAdvisor review described the company as out of traps, with traps not working and disagreements about what needed to be done.
