RUN don’t walk away from this company. I once gave them a 5 star review, but if I could give 0 stars today I would. Conti used to be great, but I have to edit my review as they are now pretty terrible. They have slowly scaled back on just about everything. My father decided to go with another company, and after several unreturned phone calls the office lady that has been spoken of often in other review, finally called back, and very rudely refused to refund any of the money remaining in his pre buy contract and also refused to deliver the remaining gallons stating, “you said you’re no longer a customer”. Terrible customer service, terrible customer relations. After reading all of the other reviews, I can’t believe they are still in business - my guess is not for long.
Amazing service!!! I am on automatic refill and noticed that my tank was almost empty. It turns out that Conti's had been trying to reach me during the summer to let me know that, according to state law, my tank needed to be inspected before delivery could be made. My landline was out of service for most of the summer, so they were unable to reach me. One evening, I called and left them a message, explaining that my tank was almost empty and asking them to call me when they opened so I could schedule a delivery. Chris called me back the next morning, and she was so kind and helpful. She explained why I hadn't received a delivery and offered to send an inspector out that same morning. The inspector arrived immediately and was very nice and informative. He inspected my tank, and I received a fuel delivery the same day. Exceptional service from everyone involved!!!
Apparently orange is "too far away" for us to be serviced now (we're 10 minutes from Barre city). Lady that picks up the phone is the definition of unpleasant. Avoid at all costs.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. After being a client for 17 years, I called for my yearly delivery. It took 3 phone calls and an email message to even get a return call. The woman who called me was was extremely rude. Told me my account was "inactive" because I haven't had oil delivered in a year (it's been 14 months!!) And they will not reopen my account. I try to have a conversation with her about the longevity of my account, etc. She then interrupts me abruptly and said "you can plead your case all you want but you'll have to find a new supplier. Have a great day." And hung up on me. This is absolutely disgusting frim a once respected business. Don't bother dealing with them.
