Continental Paving

I give my ratings based on how nice people are, this place is not it. I called the office to let them know that over the past few weeks including today. I had been noticing how rude some of the flaggers at this company are, yelling at people when the workers have their phones out and aren’t turning their signs to the correct side and getting mad at people for it. I also had another incident today being yelled at because I didn’t slam on my gas the second the sign turned to “slow”. That brings me to the phone call this morning, I was trying to bring my complaint the whole complaint, to whoever I spoke with at their office and she couldn’t have been more annoyed with the fact that Il was calling to complain. Her tone changed from nice to annoyed within two seconds of figuring out I wasn’t a customer but just calling to let them know about the flaggers. “We could just keep going on and on “ she said to me not even knowing if I was done speaking. If I were the owner of one of the biggest paving companies in NH, I would give a shit, but that’s just me.

Vehicle operators are dangerous on the highway. They weave in and out of traffic with tractor trailers going well over the speed limit and treat lane as suggestions. Directionals must not be a feature in their trucks. Drivers need their licenses revoked before they cause an accident. If their carelessness operating vehicles is any indication of how they perform work then they should never be hired for another job.

I witnessed my fiancée get hit by a Continental Paving company dump trucks while she was rollerblading in our residential community to get the mail. The driver speed up, failed to yield, swerving dangerously close to hit her. When she approached the driver to ask for an apology or clarification, I saw him hold up his beer can and flip her off. Totally unsafe, unprofessional, and dangerous behavior.

I’ve been pleased with the work being done on the road that I drive to get to work. Grateful for the lady and gentleman paving the roads in Pembroke and Allenstown.

Traffic control directed me into oncoming traffic 3 seperate times in a single commute. Unsure if its just poor planning not having enough people directing traffic or if the crew is just not doing their jobs but either way; extreme danger and incompetence is what you can expect from this company evidently.
