A November 2022 reviewer raises pricing and incomplete-work complaints about Cooper Landscaping’s work for their 88-year-old mother. They allege that a few bushes were trimmed for $250, that the job was unfinished, and that the amount charged differed from a phone quote with tax added unexpectedly. The same reviewer says requests for a leaf-cleanup quote remained unresolved before a later call offering to do the work. They also objected to a $75 lawn-mowing quote. Cooper Landscaping is based in Wethersfield, and Google shows a four-star average from four ratings.
IF I could leave Zero Stars I would! This Guy took advantage & Ripped off my 88 year old Mother, trimmed a few bushes and charged $250! 1 hours work, bushes weren't even 4 feet high!! The job incomplete to Boot! My mother spoke to lady on phone and gave a price, this guy come over and gives another price plus tax the lady on phone Never mentioned! Then listen too this; My mother asked for a quote for leave cleanup the guy told my again 88 year old mother it depends on which way the leaves blow! WHAT!! I have never heard such an idiotic comment! Then without giving a quote calls a Month later to ask if want leaves done!! My Mother responded you never gave me a quote and you want to come do the leaves!!! ALSO forgot to mention gave a quote of $75 to cut her lawn a 7 year old can do with a push mower in Ten Minutes!!!! WE WILL NEVER HIRE THIS GUY AGAIN!!! Way over priced, mediocre at best, took advantage of my elderly mother.
