Twenty-six reviews in, the thing that keeps coming back about Correia Custom Fence isn't the fence — it's what happens when something isn't right. A homeowner writing in 2023 said a section installed years earlier had started to sag; they called, the crew surveyed it and fixed it under warranty without a fight. A 2024 reviewer replacing a failing fence said the crew told them a hidden part of the old one was still sound and didn't need replacing, then kept to the agreed schedule and left the yard clear of debris. Luis Correia runs the Middleborough company. BBB puts the business start at 2009 and the LLC at 2011, and counts four employees. The company's own site calls it a "local family owned and operated company" that never subcontracts its work, and its Houzz profile says the same. The range is wide for a four-person shop: wood and stockade, vinyl and PVC, aluminum, chain link, plus gates, dog kennels, pergolas, arbors and iron railings across southeastern Massachusetts. The installed work is where they're most consistent. A 2024 reviewer with uneven land said Correia was the only one of four companies confident they could build what was wanted, that it had to be assembled on site, and that Luis was there for days making sure it held. Another 2024 customer had the town inspector close out the building permit and come away impressed. In 2025 someone had a metallic net added along the bottom of an existing fence to keep a small dog in — done, they said, meticulously. Price lands well too: a 2025 reviewer who had been collecting quotes for a couple of years said this was the best of them, and the old fence came out as part of the job. The soft spot is getting to a contract. Three separate people describe estimates that never arrived — one in 2022 who called twice after an October site visit and heard nothing back, one in 2024 who said the quote was promised and never emailed (and who also felt the sales visit turned into a political rant), and a 2023 homeowner widening a gate opening who said calls went unreturned and the crew didn't show in the window they were given. Those are all at least a year old, and the last six months brought four reviews with no complaints in them — but they cluster tightly enough to plan around. Call them, and if the estimate doesn't land when promised, chase it. Once the crew is actually booked, the work and the after-care are what people write about.
Very nice company to work with. Honest, respectful and the finished product looks great! Thank you Holly and crew
Second time we've had them out to our place. We extended the fence on the side of our house. Quick and friendly efficient staff.
When I say this was the best experience ever I mean it. From the time the crew started until they finished, they worked so hard and everything was put up to perfection, which such precision. Flawless! Thank you guys, and thank you Luis and Holly. You are the best of the best!!!
