Cox Mechanical Contractors is the trading name of Cox Engineering, a Canton, Massachusetts mechanical contractor that the Better Business Bureau files under Commercial Air Conditioning Contractors. Jonathan Desmond is listed as President and CEO, and the BBB record dates the corporation to November 1945 — eighty years. This is commercial work, not house calls. The one review that describes an actual job, posted in September 2015, is about equipment installation on a KFC — 'our commercial project', in the customer's words. Homeowners looking for a furnace or a home air-conditioning system should look elsewhere; a firm like this is contracted by building owners, general contractors and facility managers. Its BBB standing is two separate facts worth keeping straight: the rating is A+, and the business is explicitly not BBB Accredited. One does not imply the other. Two things undercut what little else is on the record. Its BuildZoom licence entry reads 'Unable To Verify' with no licence number printed at all, and the page carries an alert saying no active licence is on file — so nothing about its credentials has been confirmed either way. And the other of its two reviews, from November 2017, is not about this company: the writer describes a project done with RevoluSun, trading as Northeast Solar, so that praise belongs to a different business entirely and should carry no weight here. That leaves one dated, commercial review as the entire customer record. Anyone considering Cox for a commercial mechanical or sheet-metal project should ask directly for its current licence numbers and for references on jobs of comparable size, since the public trail supports neither.

We did a project with Revolusun who dba as Northeast Solar. In our case they were very professional and completed the job on schedule and on cost. IMO I can see no reason not to recommend.
