Google shows 4.8 stars from 52 ratings. In June 2026 a customer said the crew completed a four-bedroom local move in a single day and was very reasonably priced. In April 2026, a customer who moved locally four times in six years said Evan and the crew sent an extra crew member and a second truck to make the moves go more quickly, nothing broke, and several of the same crew members were there for all four moves. A September 2026 reviewer has used the company twice, and a July 2026 reviewer wrote of using it many times for big moves and smaller things. In November 2025, a customer said two men packed everything in two hours and delivered it to another state the next day. In October 2025 two movers handled a pickup 150 miles from Enfield, a drop-off another 150 miles away and a second drop-off 50 miles beyond, without delay. A November 2021 customer was moved from VT to TN, with a truck and a storage unit loaded. In September 2023, Evan fit in an estimate within seven hours for a reviewer's 80-plus-year-old parents, whose original mover was not going to live up to expectations, and Thomas and Kevin packed and moved them out of their home of 31 years. A March 2023 reviewer said the company came in more than $300 under the quoted price. The staff and crew at Custom were absolutely fantastic. I had to move woodworking equipment to storage including a 600 lb. table saw. To do it myself would have meant driving two hours one way to rent a truck with a lift gate. Other movers quoted $2,000 for this small but challenging job, involving a four man crew. Custom did it for $450 and their guys are stronger as it only took two of them. I won't say it was easy but they took on the challenge and kept a great sense of humor. Everyone was polite and professional as well as efficient. Thank you to Evan for making the arrangements and to the two fellows who did the move (I neglected to get their names). We will use them again and highly recommend them for big or small jobs!

Due to an unusual employment situation, we moved locally four times in six years (a lifestyle I would not recommend). Evan and the crew at Custom Moving were great. Friendly, strong, treated our stuff well (nothing broke), sent an extra crew member and a second truck to make the moves go more quickly. Several of the crew members were there for all four moves. They worked hard, had fun, it wasn't a grind, and we couldn't be happier.
