A backyard pond that is now tied into the rest of the yard is the project a 2025 customer of Cut-Rite Landscaping described. The company says on its website that it offers landscaping and plowing services for Wells and Ogunquit, including weekly mowing and trimming, garden design, planting, lawn installation, spring and fall cleanups and tree work, plus plowing, sand and salt in the winter, and that it has been in business 27 years. That 2025 customer, new to homeownership, said the company handled mowing, gardening and mulching, worked with the pond on the property rather than around it, removed several tree stumps, and safely cut down trees that were either dead or too close to the house. The customer said the work was scheduled and completed within weeks. A 2024 customer said they were satisfied with the quality of work, the price, and the company's knowledge and professionalism.
I'm new to homeownership, which means starting from scratch when it comes to finding reliable people for home projects. I didn't expect how difficult it would be— so many companies didn't return my calls or weren't accepting new clients. It's been a frustrating learning curve to say the least. I'm so glad I didn't give up trying to find a landscaper because if I had, I wouldn't have found Cut-Rite Landscaping. They look care of everything for me this summer— mowing, gardening, mulching, and more. Beyond the routine upkeep, they also tackled some major projects. I have a pond on my property, which adds some complexity to landscaping, and rather than working around it, they worked with it. The pond, which looked and felt like a distant, separate entity, is now beautifully tied into the rest of my backyard. I've even had neighbors to stop by just to compliment the transformation. They also removed several tree stumps and safely cut down trees that were either dead or too close to my house. All of this work was scheduled and completed within weeks (and with great care). I would recommend them to anyone considering major landscaping work to improve their property.
Absolutely, 100% satisfied with quality of work, price, knowledge and professionalism. I will add pictures of my beautiful garden in late spring.
