Matt and Kiah did a fantastic job in repairing and renovating the ceiling in our den. The job was an insurance claim, due to an ice dam caused by heat loss. They managed the whole process with our insurance company, from beginning to end, putting our minds at ease. And the final result was amazing. Matt and Kiah exposed the beams in our ceiling, giving our den a beautiful new look. We would recommend Matt and Kiah to anyone looking to upgrade or renovate their home. And if you have an insurance claim, they can handle that too! I have already been in contact with them to renovate the ceiling on our wraparound porch. I wouldn't do that if their work product wasn't excellent. Highly recommend Matt and Kiah.
Honesty and loyalty. What more do you want from a company? Its all I ask for. A no nonsense approach to life and business. Honest people.
Cutting Edge Contracting was subcontracted to replace our roof with standing seam (as posted on this website). What was supposed to be a "two week job" turned into over two months in which our new roof was left dented and scratched throughout and our chimneys were improperly flashed. Cutting Edge was terrible with communication, as initially the panels were incorrectly cut and then left in our lawn in several piles surrounding our house - damaging our grass. Additionally, our screens were damaged and other items on our property (lawn furniture, etc.). The owners of Cutting Edge worked with a partner, who primarily worked on this project with one assistant and frequently complained he had no assistance. Towards the end of the project, we had to file a no trespass order against this partner, as we were notified by the owner of Cutting Edge Contracting that their partner had threatened them and our property after a monetary dispute between them that did not involve us, as we had paid in full. I have texts from the owner of Cutting Edge confirming their shoddy work and acknowledging our roof would need repair and, most likely, replacement. We gave Cutting Edge and the general contractor who hired them more than a year to remedy our roof, but they have broken many promises to fix our roof and have not done so.
Cutting Edge Contracting (Matt) and his team did an amazing bathroom remodel of our first floor bath. The pricing was competitive, the professionalism was excellent, and the installation and finished product is beautiful! The sub-contract plumbing company that Cutting Edge Contracting partnered with (Affinity Plumbing and Heating) was an amazing choice; Ernie’s work is excellent and priced fairly. I will definitely use this team again for future projects.
Matt and his crew did an amazing job removing our 80s bathroom and helping us select items for our new beautiful bathroom. On time , on budget, great attention to detail, courteous, clean and done in a timely manner. This is the 2nd time I have used Cutting Edge and would not hesitate in recommending there wide range of building and renovation services.
