A 2025 customer who ordered 5 yards of dark brown pine mulch said the mulch was good quality and ordering was easy. A 2025 customer who had set up an account at the Lincoln yard said that on a later visit to dump less than a yard of grass and buy mulch, they were told the owner required at least $2,500 spent in the current season before a truck could be dumped there, and they went elsewhere. A 2025 customer wrote that a worker started yelling as soon as they pulled in to buy 10 yards of mulch.
I brought loam from them It was the best I ever seen. Dark, no stones at all. Delivery was fast and smooth. Thanks Fred
I was looking for a place to get materials and dump my truck out since recently moving to the area. A friend who works at a different d&d location said try the Lincoln yard. I emailed through the website and got a fast reply with a phone number saying call and ask for Joe. Spoke with Joe shortly after and he was great! Answered all my questions on pricing and what was allowed and not allowed to be dumped there. Even suggested some other places that may take the things that d&d doesn't. He told me to come in any time and set up an account. I went the next morning and did just that. A few weeks later I went in to dump some grass (less than a yard) and buy some mulch. The guy in the loader (not Joe) comes over to see what I need and I tell him I have some grass to dump and I need some mulch. Before I even finished the sentence he was already shaking his head no. He tells me I need to have an account. I said I do have an account. He then says well have you spent at least $2500 here? I said no I've only been here once before when I set up the account a few weeks ago. He told me the owner put a new rule in place that unless you've spent at least $2500 in the current season I can't let you dump the truck here and basically told me to get lost. In case anyone is wondering, yes they charge you to dump there...... but apparently only after you reach a minimum spent? As a small solo operation I barely spend $2500 on mulch in an entire season. Very unpleasant experience on location. And the rule of having to spend a certain amount of money before you can earn the privilege to spend more money to dump your grass doesn't seem real. Went elsewhere, they saw the grass I had let me dump it for free and sold me some mulch. Simple like it should be.
Angry guys at this location I was going to buy 10 yards of mulch and as soon as pull in he started yelling.
Ordered 5 yards dark brown pine mulch. Very nice quality mulch, easy to order, friendly staff, very satisfied.
