No state license for this trade. Maine doesn't license or register roofing businesses, so there's no state registry to check. That's true of every roofing business in the state, not a mark against this one. Insurance is self-reported.

Again I cannot thank you enough for giving me a ride to the gas station and back to my truck. Just some random guy thumbing it go on the complete wrong direction. It gives me hope for people and humankind. There are still those just out of their own goodwill. That will help complete strangers, and treat as if old friends. You are a man of God sir, again thank you so much!

What does a roof replacement cost in Greater Portland?
Typical Maine range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Danforth Roofing & Services. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
A square is 100 sq ft of roof surface — bigger than the floor plan because of pitch and overhangs.
Estimated range
$8,100 – $16,700
Typical roofing project around $12,400
