Swift Roofing & Construction is Charlie's business, and it holds 4.9 stars from 21 Google ratings. In May 2026 a customer facing a time crunch over a house sale wrote that Charlie got them scheduled quickly, communicated each step of the way, and recommended him for roofing. In a February 2025 review, a customer wrote that he completely redid their barn roof in the summer of 2024. Another February 2025 customer wrote that after their new metal roof they hired him to replace the flooring on the entire first floor of their home, and a third that month said he did the roof on their garage. A reviewer who describes themselves as a GAF-certified roofing specialist recommended the company for roofing and construction in February 2025. In August 2025 a customer wrote that Charlie called to say the start would be a week late because of previous jobs, let them know when he was on his way and when he was done, and rebuilt the front side of their old shed, with doors, to match a new shed. In July 2025 a customer wrote that he made sure their gazebo was built to their specifications and in a timely manner. In August 2026 a reviewer who had first given five stars revised it to three. They describe themselves as an older couple in their 70s, and Charlie installed a ramp and a walk-in shower for them the year before, a kv-cap funded project. They wrote that the shower seams did not snap together tightly, that a sealer that was not waterproof began melting right away until he returned and reapplied a different product, that the bathroom floor was dinged and a piece of baseboard was not replaced, and that the ramp is pulling apart in several areas with many posts split. He came back and replaced a few boards on the walking surface, and he told them his experience is roofing, not ramps. They also called him respectful and trusted him with a key to the house.
I originally gave Charlie 5 stars for work he did for us almost a year ago. I seldom do reviews. Honesty , I debated with myself whether I should do this updated review because I like Charlie. Charlie was easy to work with and professional. He installed a ramp and a walk-in shower last year. He guaranteed his work for a year which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately the seams didn’t snap together tightly in the shower. He used a sealer that wasn’t waterproof to compensate for the ill-fitting seams and it began melting right away. He returned and reapplied a different product to the entire unit. Another professional noted the shower was probably defective from the start and the contractor should have returned it and asked for a replacement. During installation we noticed later Charlie damaged the bathroom floor dinging the inlaid. In all honesty, the flooring is old and will need to be replaced at some point, but still. He also removed a small piece of corner baseboard and didn’t replace it. We can live with that. The caulking is now turning yellow. Now, the ramp. Oh boy. Simply, it’s pulling apart in several areas. Many of the posts have split badly! Some of the balusters are crooked. No amount of stain will cover the knots. Believe me, we are trying. To give Charlie credit, he came back and did replace a few boards on the walking surface. In a nutshell, as a professional, no matter what the project, a professional should honor their work, be committed to buying good quality materials, and not bid on a job you do not have extensive experience with. He recently self-disclosed to us his experience is roofing, not ramps, so we better understand the less than impressive results. Full disclosure. This was a kv-cap funded project so we aren’t out of the thousands of dollars. We are very grateful for being approved to receive these much needed additions to our modest home. Some people may feel we shouldn’t “complain” about the results. Perhaps. We’re an older couple in our 70’s with health issues and a fixed income. The ramp and shower are functional, for now. Replacing this ramp in a few years will be beyond our means. We’re talking safety. If it’s pulling apart in less than a year, well you get the picture. Again, we deeply appreciated that this project was approved. Charlie was respectful and a nice guy! We trusted him to the point of giving him a key to the house at the time. We don’t do that with someone we don’t trust. This review isn’t intended to be mean spirited, just factual and honest. As Charlie stated the last time he came, this was a learning experience. He didn’t do terrible, but he could have done much better.

Charlie was professional, communicative, and fast. We were dealing with a time crunch with the sale of the house. He got us scheduled quickly and communicated each step of the way. I would highly recommend him for all your roofing needs.
Charlie came and gave a quote. Called to let me know the job was be a week late start due to previous jobs. He let me know when on his way to start, as well as when he was done. He exceeded my expectations with the work to rebuild the front side with doors of my old shed to match the new shed. I’m in awe - looks amazing.
Charlie was a pleasure to work with all during the construction of our gazebo. He went out of his way to make sure all was done to our specifications and in a timely manner. We definately recommend him without question.
