Verified record
Daniel K Dacri runs a Northampton contracting operation built around commercial remodels and full buildouts. In a 2017 review, a restaurant owner described him remodeling their space in 72 hours flat — new floors, ceiling and built-in furniture, calling the result better than they'd hoped for. A 2020 review from a commercial-space client used similarly strong terms, praising the speed and quality of a refurbishment and build-out project. He holds an active Massachusetts electrician license (#14950) and an active home improvement contractor registration (#162929, issued in September 2025), both verified by BuildZoom as of 2026. BuildZoom's permit records show 67 projects total. The two written reviews on file are both from 2017 and 2020 — a strong but dated record — so it's worth asking for more recent references on a comparable job before booking.
Dan Dacri is amazing. Simply amazing. He works and works to make sure the job is done efficiently and beautifully. Whether it’s a refurbishment or a totally new buld-out, this guy has the magic. He did a ripper of a job on my commercial space in a very short amount of time and nailed every single part of it to an astonishing degree. He’s simply the only one I trust to do this kind of work and he knows it intuitively, like how you and I know how to tie shoes. Absurdly competent. What a gem. Hire this man. Now...before someone else books him and you can’t get your work done on time.
Dan is a consummate professional. He cares deeply about the quality of his work. He has a depth of skill that is unusual for a small outfit. He remodeled a restaurant for us in 72 hours complete with new floors, ceiling and built in furniture. The result was more than we hoped for. Do not hesitate to reach out to this man!
