Daniels Moving & Storage says it has been moving households and businesses since 1936, headquartered in Canaan, NH and Westminster, VT, with a listed location in Bow, NH. It's independently owned, and its own history says the company was purchased by David Smith in 1988. The only two written reviews on file, both on the company's Better Business Bureau page, are pointed complaints. One describes an original estimate of $4,000 to $5,000 — given after a full in-home inventory — that turned into an $8,000 final bill. The other is blunt: the reviewer says they wouldn't trust the company to pack their groceries. Those two accounts sit alongside an A+, BBB-accredited rating and federal USDOT/MC operating authority listed on the same page — a real gap between the company's overall standing and the specific experiences reviewers describe. Anyone considering the company would do well to get a firm, written estimate and ask directly about how packing is handled before booking. For local, long-distance or commercial moves, Daniels has decades of history behind it, but the written record so far is thin and weighted toward two serious complaints — worth confirming pricing and packing practices in writing before committing.

I dont often write lengthy reviews, but theres a lot to unpack here and if youre considering hiring this company, its worth a read. But if youd like the nutshell version I wouldnt let them pack my groceries!
We had a terrible experience with Daniel's Moving. They estimated our move would cost $4,000-$5,000 after doing a complete inventory of our items and charged us $8,000 instead.
