Dave The Paver Guy

Patios, walkways and retaining walls feature in customers' accounts of Dave The Paver Guy, an East Falmouth business with 4.7 stars from 23 Google ratings. Customers have praised completed outdoor projects, but two detailed complaints describe unfinished work after substantial payments. In an August 2025 Google review, a patio customer said Dave and his team did what they promised and stayed on schedule. A February 2025 reviewer also praised a patio and walkway. In August 2023, another customer described a retaining wall around a sloped flower bed, with low-voltage lighting along the wall. That customer said the crew arrived on time, cleaned up before leaving each day, communicated well and charged a price they considered more than fair. A July 2023 reviewer who operated an Airbnb described drainage and erosion problems in a steep backyard. They said Dave devised a drainage solution, created a stone-and-moss stepping path and built a two-tier stone patio with lights. The customer praised the speed of the work and said Dave showed up as promised and joined his workers in the heavy lifting. A June 2023 reviewer praised the appearance of a serviced driveway and the pricing. The complaints are specific. In July 2023, a customer said Dave took a $10,000 deposit and never completed the job, leaving the property a mess. The customer estimated that about $4,000 of work had been done, requested $6,000 back and said Dave sent a $3,000 check before becoming unresponsive. In August 2025, another customer reported intermittent attendance and a job expected to take three days stretching beyond two weeks. They said the crew left work unfinished and Dave was unreachable for several days. According to that customer, Dave later acknowledged unfinished portions and promised to return; after they paid almost the full amount, he returned briefly but still did not finish. The customer said a further promised visit did not happen and calls and texts went unanswered.
