diggins & ROSE Moving Systems is based at 399 E Industrial Park Dr in Manchester, New Hampshire. A homeowner who used the company for a move in 2020 said Shawn came to the house to estimate the job and checked the destination to determine the needed truck, but the company later said the driveway required two box trucks and added $600 to the price. That account also says the packing went fine by the homeowner's assumption and specifically praises movers Frankie and Wilson as conscientious and hardworking. The written review is dated June 22, 2020, so it is a historical account rather than a description of current practice. Before booking, confirm the truck plan, driveway access, and the final price in writing, including any possibility of an equipment-related surcharge. This company may be a fit for a homeowner seeking moving services who is prepared to verify those logistics ahead of time.
We used this company for a move 8 years ago and they were great, so naturally we chose to use them again for our most recent move. Shawn came to the house to give us an estimate, googled our new home to see what type of truck was needed, all good. Day BEFORE the move he contacts us and says he made a mistake and he’ll have to use two box trucks instead of one large trailer because of the driveway. So, tack on an extra $600 for that. Packers came, that went fine (we assumed). Movers came the next day. Frankie and Wilson were great, very conscientious and hardworking. James on the other hand was rude, lazy and smelled of cigarette smoke. On the day of closing we found out that their accountant had left and they couldn’t find the receipt for our $2000 down payment. So, instead of calling us they just decided to take it from our credit card....not once, but twice because the lady didn’t know what she was doing. We called and were told “I don’t know how to reverse the charges....let me google it”. Seriously? We are still trying to figure out if they successfully reversed the charges because now they say we owe THEM $4000. So a $5400 move is ending up being $10,000 because they can’t figure out their finances. Unpacking boxes to find several things not packed well and damaged. Will never ever do business with these people again and would advise others to do the same
