Across 13 Google reviews, every one five stars from 2022 through 2025, the specifics repeat. In a 2023 review, a homeowner describes Dan explaining the tradeoffs of staining old wood shingles rather than just painting them, and working within their budget. A 2022 review describes four rooms, two hallways and a staircase repainted inside an 1860s home, with 'Patty' meticulously addressing wall and trim imperfections before painting began. Another 2022 review, about a back deck, stairs and bulkhead, describes the crew working through rain, cold and wind delays while still communicating plans clearly at each step. The company's own site lists historical restoration, cabinet refinishing, deck staining and color consultation alongside interior and exterior painting, and states it is 'Historical District Approved' — worth knowing if a project needs to clear a historic commission. A 2024 review also mentions a program giving an American flag to veterans with every exterior job, a value the company states about itself rather than something reviewers independently verify. Angi doesn't yet show any reviews or a license number for the business, so most of what's known here comes from its Google history. DOC looks like a solid call if a house is old enough that a straightforward repaint isn't quite right — worth asking upfront how rotted or worn original material gets handled, since a couple of reviews describe that surfacing mid-job.
