Dube's General Contracting works out of Nashua on the kind of projects that run for weeks rather than days — additions, attic and garage conversions, whole-house siding, decks and porches, kitchens and bathrooms, and window and door replacement. Its Google profile averages 4.8 stars from 83 ratings, the Better Business Bureau grades it A, and its BBB page lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 199509, as that bureau's record rather than a verified one. The reviews read like the same people over and over: Josh in sales and estimating, Adam as project manager, and a crew named again and again — Paul, Bruce, Evan, Patrick. Customers describe daily updates, an online portal showing schedule and photos, and project managers on site through the job. A June 2026 customer had a 600-square-foot attic finished around a complicated roof line and said the multi-month schedule held. Another that month had a chronically leaking skylight removed and the damaged roof, wall and ceiling rebuilt for less than they expected to pay. The range is unusually wide for a firm this size. In a 2025 review, a customer had a detached garage converted into a commercial kitchen and office; another had a home resided in custom-cut James Hardie to match an unusual original style; a 2024 customer had 12 windows replaced across six rooms; and in a 2023 review, a customer had exterior rot repaired and a badly built deck levelled. Several describe the company coming back long after the fact — a February 2026 customer had baseboard caulking on a four-year-old sunroom addition fixed within a couple of weeks of asking, and a 2024 customer had repeat visits to solve a fireplace draft after an addition. The two serious complaints are both from the same period and worth reading. In a December 2022 review, a customer said they paid a $9,800 deposit in July for a screened porch, then chased updates into September without a start date. In a September 2023 review, a customer who spent six figures on an exterior and siding project said the finished result looked great but that it took more than twice the quoted time, that items reported as ordered had not been, and listed code problems — a dryer vent left venting into the wall, a stove exhaust covered by house wrap. A November 2022 four-star reviewer, happy with the result and the budget, called the scheduling haphazard. For a multi-week renovation where you want one project manager and daily visibility, this is a deep record with a lot of specific, repeat business behind it. Get the schedule, the deposit terms and the inspection sign-offs written into the contract, and ask who is on site each day.

“I'm in Nashua, and I've seen a couple of homes in my immediate neighborhood use Dube's Construction recently. One of them is currently using them for a garage/master suite addition.”
Overall great experience working with Dube’s GC. Communication throughout the project met our expectations, no surprises or issues whatsoever. Very happy with the outcome of the project (three season porch and side deck)
We recently hired Dube's General Contracting to replace several windows in our home and complete some additional smaller projects, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The quality of the work was outstanding, and everything was completed quickly and professionally. Everyone on the team was great to work with from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they kept us informed every step of the way. It's clear they take pride in their work and pay attention to the details. I would highly recommend Dube's General Contracting to anyone looking for high-quality workmanship, great communication, and a reliable team.
I never offer reviews online but I'm making an exception for Josh and the crew from Dube's. Our 50-year-old home needed some modernization and we turned to Dube's for help. Over the last three years, windows were replaced, the exterior was sided, a new deck and sunroom were added and two bathrooms were redone. Excellent craftsmanship was shown by the Dube staff and all their subs, with genuine respect for us and our home. We're thrilled with the results, glad it's all over - but we're going to miss the boys!
Dube completed an attic finishing job adding about 600 sq ft of living space with a complex shape due to roof line etc. They were very thoughtful and careful with the details and execution resulting in a very nice added space. They were very organized and did well keeping a multi-month project on schedule. Best of all everyone who came to work the project from Dube and their subs were nice, friendly people who I had no hesitation welcoming them into my house to work! They are a first rate business!
Our home had a skylight in our master bedroom that had been leaking for the past few years so we decided to have it removed along with having the water-damaged roof, wall and ceiling restored. Given all the positive social media feedback we reached out Dube's. Expecting it to be much higher I thought that the quote they gave us was very reasonable. Our entire experience interacting with Dube's from the quote, preparation, construction and completion phases of the project was very positive. The restoration of the roof, wall and ceiling came out amazing. Evan did an incredible job blending in the new roof shingles while the ceiling and walls looked better than when the house was built given Patrick's artistic plastering work. I will definitely be reaching out to Dube's in the future when we have our bathrooms remodelled. Thank you Dube's Construction, You Guys Rock!
