JM Contractor LLC is a family-owned general contracting, painting and cleaning company working out of 74 Northeastern Blvd in Nashua, New Hampshire. The company says it was founded by Maeli and Jay Santos and has eight years in business, and it is Jay who appears by name in almost every review customers write.
The work is broad for a small outfit: bathroom and basement remodels, popcorn-ceiling removal and skim coating, interior and exterior painting, decks and concrete steps, drywall, epoxy floors, carpentry and flooring, plus residential and post-construction cleaning. Google carries a 4.8-star average from 43 ratings, and the written record runs from 2023 through 2026.
What comes through most consistently is scheduling that holds and sites that get cleaned up. A January 2024 reviewer described three bathrooms remodelled between Thanksgiving and Christmas with full days worked and the house cleaned every evening; a March 2026 reviewer had ice-dam damage repaired, the bathroom repainted and the floor replaced as one job without it dragging on. Repeat customers are common — one reviewer counted a fifth or sixth project, another four years of jobs from a walk-in shower conversion down to small repairs.
Two complaints sit against that. In April 2026 someone who asked for a kitchen renovation quote wrote that they were brushed off when they chased it and still had nothing three weeks after the site visit. In August 2024, on a job where JM was the subcontractor, a customer wrote that the crew broke a garage door and said nothing until the damage was raised with the project manager. Neither shows how it ended.
