Dubois Tree Service, LLC

Dubois customers have described tree removals close to houses, over roofs and in fenced yards. In a May 2024 Google review, a customer said Don and his crew removed four trees and trimmed another, using a crane to bring large oaks over the house while working around a small fenced yard. They also accommodated a last-minute addition to the job. Based in Manchester, the business says it has been family-owned and operated since 1984, with owner Don Dubois on every job. Its website describes tree removal, stump grinding and tree trimming throughout southern New Hampshire, and names towns including Manchester, Bedford, Goffstown, Amherst and Hollis. Google lists a 4.5-star average from 48 ratings; BBB gives the non-accredited business an A+ grade. A June 2026 customer described hiring the company for tree takedowns in October 2023 and again in May 2026, praising Don and his team’s work from start to finish. A July 2026 reviewer also praised the team’s efficiency and reasonable pricing. In an August 2025 review, a customer said the crew removed a large tree next to the house that was cracking the foundation, arrived on time and cleaned the yard thoroughly. Scheduling accounts differ. A May 2025 customer said Don assessed two dead backyard trees the day they called, quoted a fair price, and had his team remove them within ten days of the initial estimate. By contrast, an April 2025 reviewer said an October estimate came with an expected six-week wait, but the promised advance call never came. They reported unanswered voicemails in December and January and still no response by April. Another customer, writing in December 2024, said a promised mailed estimate never arrived after an August assessment, despite multiple follow-up messages. Customers also described careful cleanup after difficult removals. In November 2024, one reviewer said Don safely cleared two tall, hard-to-access trees leaning toward the house. A July 2023 customer described removal of invasive vines and several trees, with the work performed as estimated and the area cleaned afterward.
