EAMES CONSTRUCTION INC

Eames Construction takes Cohasset projects from drawings through permits to finished build: the company's site describes in-house architecture and design, permitting and scheduling alongside residential and commercial new construction and remodeling. It lists Shawn W. Richard as its general contractor and main point of contact, and says it has over 38 years of experience in general contracting. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #177607, is active on the state registry, and Houzz also lists a construction supervisor number, CS-107148, for the company. Google shows a 5-star average across three ratings, and the Better Business Bureau gives the King Street business an A+ grade. A 2022 post on Trustburn described a remodeling project and called the crew prompt, efficient and attentive to detail. One thing to square up front: the company's own site claims more than 38 years, while its BBB profile dates the business to 2014. Ask how those two fit — whether the longer figure belongs to the people rather than the company. For a South Shore homeowner planning a full remodel or a new build who wants design, permitting and construction under one roof, this is a sensible call. Ask to see two or three recent projects, confirm who runs the site day to day, and get allowances and change-order terms in writing before work starts.
