Dryer vents are the job people call Eaton Home Solutions LLC for. A recent customer worried about a neglected vent said Mike fit in a rush dryer vent cleaning, did a thorough job and left the area cleaner than he found it. On Google the business holds 5 stars from 84 ratings. Its website lists a service area that includes Fairfield, Shelton, Monroe, Trumbull and Westport, and it offers free estimates. A 2024 customer said Mike cleared a dryer vent that had not been cleaned in at least 8 years, on the second attempt, and returned the following day when their new dryer still showed an error. A 2023 customer said Mike checked their AC ducts and told them the ducts were fine and did not really need cleaning. A 2024 customer said Mike scheduled an air duct cleaning on their multifamily right away and vacuumed up before he left. A 2023 customer with three dogs said they went through every vent and return in the home and cleaned the dryer vent too. Mike also installs his own Nor'Easter mailbox. A 2026 customer said the swinging box is engineered to survive winter plows and that he warranties it for 5 years, and a 2024 customer called the replacement of a dilapidated old mailbox "seamless." A recent customer said he called their cracked dryer vent tubing hazardous and said he would install a new one, but did not call back when they called more than once to get the job done. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0653171, held by Eaton Home Solutions LLC, as inactive due to non-renewal.
Mike was able to fit me into his schedule when I called for a rush dryer vent cleaning due to fears it had been neglected. He did a thorough job & left the area cleaner than he found it. Leaving me with peace of mind that is priceless. Cannot recommend more.
I needed a new tubing vent for my dryer and this person said he would install. The old one was original to the house and cracked and he told me it was hazardous. So, when I called him to install new venting system, which was more than once, to come out and complete the job he didn't even bother to call me back. How a "professional" who knows my venting isn't safe doesn't even respond to a phone call is beyond me. Does not seem very professional to me. I Do NOT recommend one bit!
This review is for Mike’s Nor’Easter Mailbox — a truly outstanding, well‑built product from an honest, responsive craftsman. I’d been searching for a mailbox that could stand up to New England snowplows, and after trying several so‑called “barriers” that failed, I’m thrilled to finally have Mike’s swinging box installed. It’s not just engineered to survive winter plows; it actually looks great too. You can tell Mike put real thought into every detail — from the mechanics of the swing arm to the clean lettering and even the solar light. It’s functional, durable, and genuinely sharp-looking. I think what he charges for the product is more than fair, considering he also installs it AND warranties it for 5 years. Check out his Facebook page, The Nor’Easter Mailbox Company, to see his installs and videos. It’s clear why people rave about his work.
Mike came out the same day I called to clean my dryer vent and provided a great and affordable solution for my extra long dryer vent system. Awesome local guy who is trustworthy and provides an excellent service. Would absolutely recommend.
I had the most ugliest mail box! I reached out to Mike for a quote and honestly I did not hesitate! I received my quote and had my Beautiful New Mailbox Post installed so soon after! They took the ugly one away and hopefully buried it! lol I’m so Happy with the new mailbox! Thanks again!!
