Ceilings are a big part of what Vision Drywall gets called for: a hole left by a plumbing repair, a crack, a popcorn texture, a ceiling soaked by an overflowing AC tank. On its HomeAdvisor profile the company describes itself as a family-owned business serving Fairfield and New Haven County, and says Ronei Dos Santos has been in the construction and drywall industry for over 20 years. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration is active. Angi shows 4.9 stars from 34 ratings, Thumbtack 5.0 from 13, and Google 4.3 from 6. In an April 2026 Angi review, a customer who called themselves very picky said Ronei came for an estimate the same afternoon, then removed the wallpaper, put two skim coats on the wall, primed and painted. A January 2026 Angi customer had a dining room redone and asked him to stay on for the painting as well. The older accounts are dated 2023 to 2025. A February 2025 Google reviewer described a bedroom with a tiny closet that Ronei expanded, and a living room with high cathedral ceilings. In an August 2023 Thumbtack review, a repeat customer left town while he removed an old popcorn ceiling, prepped and painted it, and painted the room and trim. A July 2024 Thumbtack customer wrote that the crew started the same morning the estimate was given. One December 2024 Angi review is mixed: the customer said the sheetrock work was good, but that the crew knocked out the electric in 3 rooms they did.
I need to preface this review with I am a very picky person. With that said, I approached this project with much trepidation. After contacting numerous people for my project with no success, I finally contacted Angi. I was given Ronei’s contact info. I left a message and was contacted promptly and Ronei was at my house to provide an estimate early that afternoon. I hired Ronei and it was clear within the first few hours that I had made the right choice. He removed the wallpaper, put two skim coats on the wall, primed and painted. Ronei is a diligent and excellent worker. He shows up when he says he is and works consistently throughout the day. His work is impeccable. I know you won’t be disappointed.Show more+1
Ron did an amazing thorough job in our dining room. It looks beautiful. Everything looks brand new. He’s a professional with a very friendly manner. He was prompt and cleaned up after each day of work. Although we didn’t hire him for painting services we have asked him to stay on and do that job as well. We highly recommend him. Nice job Ron! Thank you.
Vision Drywall was very professional, very knowledgeable and very fairly priced. Overall they were fabulous, and I would hire them again in a nanosecond.
Great work. Great communication. Ronei is the best. I would hire him again in an instant.
