ECE Painting

ECE Painting is a house painter whose own website names Rye as its service area and says the business has been at it for 16 years. A 2019 customer said their condo association hired ECE to paint the outside of a building in the historic district of Portsmouth, where permits, lead paint and sidewalk usage had to be addressed, and that ECE handled it all with patience and professionalism. A 2020 customer, the president of a condo association, said Alijah and his team stained mahogany decks, painted front doors and painted front porch railings across 5 buildings and 14 units. Prep work comes through on houses too. A 2020 customer said ECE gave their home exterior a thorough prepping, including carpentry to replace old boards, and worked with the paint store to get the exact color they wanted. A 2018 customer said ECE power-washed the exterior of their home and then painted it, and a 2018 homeowner had cedar shakes washed and stained. Inside, a 2015 customer said Elijah and his team fixed a botched popcorn ceiling job from a previous painter and painted the entire home, including the ceiling, walls, trim and cabinets. On price, a 2023 customer said Elijah and his team quoted fair prices and stayed on budget. A 2018 customer said the contractor ran them and their customer around for three weeks on a small project and did not do what he said he would do on a couple of occasions. A 2014 customer said the deck sealing product used cost about half the product in the estimate with no cost adjustment, and that he needed to return to do some touch up.
