On its Angi profile, the business says Stan started contracting in 1971, designing and building homes and remodeling, before starting his own home inspection business in 1995. The same profile says he has been a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors since 1995 and is now a director of the ASHI Northern New England Chapter. A 2017 Angi customer said Stan was quite thorough and that they spent about 5 hours in the house. That 2017 customer said he helped document some electrical issues, which allowed the customer to renegotiate the price, and was available afterward to give advice on how to address some of the issues found. A 2013 Angi customer wrote that he was thorough and knew what to look for, and said the inspection helped them avoid a bad investment.
He's the best of the best 👌
Stan was quite thorough; we spent about 5 hours in the house. He was able to inform me that several items were not a serious concern in spite of appearances, help me document some electrical issues which allowed me to renegotiate the price, and was available to give advice subsequently on how specifically to address some of the issues found after I bought the house. I recommend his services.
My first look at this property was through rose colored glasses. I was more interested in owning the property and had no idea of the issues that might be found. Thank goodness for inspections like Edmunds. He was thorough and knew what to look for. Although the owner agreed to fix most of the issues - in the end I decided I did not want the property. This inspection helped me to avoid a bad investment. I will definitely use his services again.
