Elite Comfort

Elite Comfort designed and installed my oil heating system from scratch and their work is exceptional. I generally ask for an annual maintenance/cleaning visit. Their serviceman are prompt, polite, and scrupulously clean.

Update Oct 2026: We had our yearly maintenance with Matt since we have had such a good experience with him always. His work is still well done and he is reliable, however, what cost us 300$ last year, cost us over 700$ this year. Same services. Not sure why a 400$ increase, but we will probably have to look elsewhere for our service next season. Too pricey now. Our furnace went out during some of the coldest nights we’ve ever experienced. We initially called another company for an inspection, only to be told we needed a whole new furnace—at a cost of over $10,000. With no heat for three nights and a house full of sick kids, we were desperate for a solution. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion. Matt from Elite Comfort came out, thoroughly inspected our system, and was honest, transparent, and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it—no new system needed. We are beyond grateful to Matt for his integrity and expertise. It’s reassuring to know that there are still HVAC professionals who prioritize honesty & quality work over making a quick profit. In January 2025 I had a company look at my furnace, as a pipe had burst in my basement. The company repaired the pipe and the heat came on in the basement area. However, the upstairs did not have heat. The company was at my home for one week trying to figure out why there was no heat. Thousands of $$$ later, the problem was not solved. Other companies were working very long hours with other customers needing assistance, preparing for more winter days and nights. It was difficult to get through it. I was angry, absolutely uncomfortable, and miserable!! October 2026. My family told me to call Elite Comfort and get my entire furnace looked at now before the colder weather begins. I agreed. When I called, Katie listened to my situation and had a plan immediately! Within two days, Tom and Matt came to the house. They were so nice and very understanding of my predicament. They assured me all problems would be managed and solved completely. Whatever parts that needed to be replaced were done. Done with NEW parts! They showed me multiple parts and gave me the explanation of each. They were at my home for ~ 5 hours. They were paid for everything before leaving. I was sent an invoice for ALL the parts and costs of each put into the furnace. (I received nothing of the sort from the first company. After their 30 hours I was still left with a disaster.) The guys were great. They were originally only supposed to be there for maintenance but I lost heat the night before in my unit. We’re able to diagnose the problem quickly and at a reasonable price considering the work that had to be done. They were also good at explaining what needed to be done and why. Would highly recommend!

We are new homeowners here in Avon, having moved to the area in the Spring. The mechanical systems seems to be working fine, but as Summer moved into Fall we felt the need to have our heating system checked and to have any routine maintenance done. After being totally at a loss as to which of the many local companies we should hire, a neighbor recommended Elite Comfort, which we chose. The Service was great. Katie kept us informed as to when we could expect the tech, Kyle, and called to ask if he could come an hour earlier as he had become available. Kyle had checked out all the information we had supplied and was ready. In addition to having him the heating system, we also asked him if he could do annual service on our water heater. Saves us from having to find another company to do that. Our system here is a gas fired furnace and not something we are familiar with - our system where we lived before moving was a hot water/radiator/boiler set-up. Because of my unfamiliarity with a furnace/hot air system I had a lot of questions, which Kyle answered. In addition to questions about the furnace, he answered my various questions about the humidifier and the different filters that I was unaware of, my zone system, my different thermostats and their advantages and limitations, and the vent assist on the gas water heater, something I'd never seen. He also advised me on making sure air returns were clear. All-in-all a really good experience and one that we will repeat each season.
