Elite Door Services is a Carver, MA garage door business. Its website lists residential and commercial door and door opener installation and repair, names Plymouth and Carver as its service area, and claims 15 years in business. A 2026 Google review describes a garage door repair scheduled between 9–11 a.m. where nobody showed up until almost 3:30, with no call. That reviewer says the door sounded worse after the repair, that two days later it started jerking halfway up and then slamming back down, and that calls to customer service were transferred around three times before ending in voicemail. In a 2025 Google review, Rick was onsite within a day when old garage doors needed a repair, and had them fixed and working better than before within an hour. In a 2024 review, Rick came right out to assess a problem with a previous door, then installed a new opener a few days later. In a 2022 review, Rick came out right away when a garage door opener stopped working, diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repair. In a 2020 review, they came out to measure a door when they said they would and replaced it within days. A 2019 review describes replacing an original garage door: under 3 weeks from the initial meeting to the install, about 3 hours to take down and take away the old door and install the new door with a garage door opener, and a demonstration of how to release the opener for manual use in a power outage. That 2019 reviewer said they picked up after themselves with no debris left in the garage or out in the driveway.
Absolutely horrible experience. Scheduled a garage door repair between 9–11 a.m. and nobody showed up until almost 3:30. No call, no update, nothing. When the technician finally arrived, he acted rushed, looked at the door for maybe five minutes, and immediately started talking about replacing parts before even explaining what was wrong. After the ‘repair,’ the garage door somehow sounded worse than before,now it groans like it’s trying to escape the house every time it opens. Two days later, it started jerking halfway up and then slamming back down. Tried calling customer service and got transferred around three different times before ending up in voicemail. Spent a lot of money and somehow ended up with a bigger problem than I started with. Would not trust them with a doghouse door.
