Elmer arrived on time with a helper and did the masonry repair on my back stairs and did a great job. I would hire again.
Needed a small area of exposed brick repaired/repointed quickly. Elmer came same day and completed the work. Very satisfied and would recommend for similar work.
I am happy to write this review for Elmer. He is an excellent mason. We enjoyed working with him, he is very pleasant and professional. I appreciated how punctual he was, he showed up exactly on time every time he came to the house. He contacted me immediately after I submitted my request for a bid. He came the next day to review and gave me an estimate on the spot. He was able to complete the work within a few days. Although the work was more extensive than he originally expected, he honored his estimate. We can't be more pleased with the results and we are hiring him to do another job for us. I include 4 before pictures and 4 after pictures of the same areas. He is amazing I recommend him without reservation.
Elmer did a great job repairing our crumbling front porch steps (bluestone and brick). He did the work for almost half the price of another quote we got and he did everything we asked and in about 2 1/2 days time.
The job entailed repointing my front stairs that were in total disrepair and included removing bricks that had split and replacing them with matching bricks. The top stoop also needed leveling as the slate was now lifting and needed to be recemented. As was the case for the wrought iron railings that also needed to be re-anchored. Elmer was easy to work with and usually went beyond expectations. He was reliable and on time and most importantly, I was happy with the finished product. As far as price, you get what you pay for...in my judgment, he's reasonable. I would not hesitate to have him work on future projects.
