In an April 2024 one-star Google review, a customer wrote that they called Emery Lee & Sons about laying gravel in their driveway and emailed pictures the same day, then heard back a month later, after 3 more emails, that the entire office had been sick or on vacation. The driver they were then given agreed to a time to come see the driveway, never showed, and had still not called back when they wrote. In April 2025 another customer wrote that the company was quick, efficient and reasonably priced. In April 2022 a customer praised straightforward pricing, quick delivery and professional service, and another that month called them a helpful bunch of folks for ground work and material needs, and concrete too. Great family business and run by great people and a great family
This company is ridiculous!! I called them about laying gravel in my driveway. They requested I email them pictures, which I did that same day. A MONTH later, after I sent 3 more emails, they responded "our entire office has been sick or on vacation", for a month??? They said they would email me in a week. A week later I was emailed the driver's number. He agreed to a time to come see the driveway. Guess what? He never showed. So I called him, he said he had an emergency doctor appointment, he would call me back either the next day (Friday) or the following Monday. What really pissed me off is he said he had a problem walking, and said to me "you know how it feels to not be able to walk". I am PARALYZED!!! He actually tried to relate to me??? That was disgusting! I had people message me they have seen him around town, he was just fine. He STILL has not called. Pathetic way of running a business!!!!!
