And the Angi and HomeAdvisor profile states free estimates but no emergency service and no warranties, so anything you would want him to come back for belongs in the quote. Those same profiles also disagree with Thumbtack about how long he has been at this — 36 years of experience on Angi and HomeAdvisor, 26 years in business on the Thumbtack page. For brick and stone steps, landings and walls — especially older masonry you would rather have repaired than torn out and veneered — this is the kind of hire people describe coming back to.
