Everlast Energy & Roofing is a Manchester, Connecticut solar installer that also replaces the roof underneath, and customers who bought the package describe the company handling both. It holds 4.9 stars from 271 ratings on Google, its BBB grade is A+, and the company says it has been in business 4 years. The roof-and-solar jobs are the core of the recent reviews. An April 2026 Google customer who took the solar and roof package said salesman Matt managed the communication and the build went smoothly. A May 2026 reviewer had the roof replaced and the panels removed and reinstalled, with drone photos at each step, at a very competitive price. In April 2026, a customer whose roof needed 75 pieces of plywood replaced once it was torn off said that was done the same day, and another had a roof replaced in one day and was shown the finished work in drone photographs. A May 2025 customer wrote that Nick worked with their insurance carrier to get an old roof replaced before the panels went on. The savings get specific. A July 2025 customer said their electric bill went from nearly $300 to well under $20 a month. An August 2024 reviewer wrote that the contract was signed on June 7 and the system was generating power on July 19. In December 2023, a Worcester, Ma. customer described a ground-mount array that took nearly a year of design and approvals because the roof was too small and shaded. The complaints are about follow-through. An October 2026 customer said three scheduled appointments were missed without a call. In April 2026, a Massachusetts customer wrote that an installation promised within two months was still unfinished after 15 months and the assigned agent stopped responding. An August 2025 reviewer said a quote appointment was a no-show. Its Connecticut HIC license HIC.0667495 is active.
“You should reach out to Everlast Energy, they are a highly rated local solar company and they did an amazing job on our home!”
Everlast is a great place to go if you want the job done right. Their personnel couldn’t be more helpful, and the process and care defines them as a company you can trust. Will be recommending them from now on.
When I first called to set up an appointment, the gentleman I spoke to, Ben, was so nice. He did remain nice, however, I had 3 appointments set up with him and also Nick. No one showed the first time or the second. I spoke to Ben and was ready to call it quits when he begged me for another chance. I felt bad so I did. And for a third time he didn’t show and he didn’t bother to call!! I would not recommend this company at all!!
