Bathrooms come up again in Everything Under the Roof's reviews by count: master baths, a shower, an accessible bathroom and a Jacuzzi-tub renovation appear in reviews from 2014 to 2025. The North Branford company says it was started in 2006 by Kim and Jay Spanier and describes itself as a residential construction and maintenance company on the Connecticut shoreline. Two reviews spell out the roles. A 2016 Angi reviewer wrote that "Kim helped with design and kept close track of our budget, while Jay and crew worked hard," and a 2014 Angi reviewer named "Jay's wife, Kim (who runs the office)." In a May 2025 Angi review, a customer credited "Kim's selections and Jay's workmanship" for a master bath, and a September 2025 Angi customer who had a basement finished wrote that "the owner was onsite doing the work." Kitchens appear too. A 2020 reviewer had the kitchen and an existing bathroom remodeled and a new bathroom added, a 2016 Angi customer wrote that "the kitchen turned out beautifully," and a 2015 Angi reviewer called the price for a kitchen remodel "competitive." A 2019 Houzz customer wrote that the company did "a great job of detailing all the expected costs" for a kitchen and upstairs bathroom in a Cape Cod-style house. One Google review from November 2021 gives one star and reads in full: "Unprepared, constant reschedules, Completely unreliable."
