Three F & G Construction reviews mention the pitch of a driveway. In an October 2019 Angi review, a customer with a long driveway that needs a specific pitch to drain said they could appreciate the work "after today's heavy rain," adding that the company is not the least expensive but worth the price. The Norwalk company says it provides paving, construction and excavation, has been in business 52 years, and serves towns from Greenwich to Fairfield. HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 4.9 stars from 38 ratings, and the written reviews run from 2018 to 2026. Chris is named in seven of them. In an April 2020 review, a customer who interviewed well over a dozen firms for 7,500 square feet of paving described a three-day job: the old driveway removed on day one, the base prepped and the entrance reoriented on day two, paving finished by early afternoon on day three, with Chris supervising and working on site. A May 2021 reviewer had major regrading done, including a drainage system and leveling an area where earlier builders had buried tree trunks, finished in a few days without disturbing the irrigation heads. An April 2021 review adds a brick patio power washed and repointed, with crumbling brick replaced. Several reviewers compared quotes first; one in July 2020 said F & G was the best of five. One September 2019 four-star review mentions a little misunderstanding over the start time, resolved before the work. The newest review, a one-star Google review from August 2026, is about the road, not a job: the reviewer wrote that a dump truck driver drove through an intersection without a blinker and nearly caused a crash, and said they would submit dash cam footage to the DOT. The state registry lists its Connecticut home improvement registration HIC.0566024, held under F & G Construction Inc, as expired. Its BBB grade is A+.
