Craftworks Construction is a Norwalk-area remodeler that takes on whole floors at a time. A recent customer hired the company for a gut renovation of an entire first floor and second-floor hallway, all while living in the home, and said estimates were never exceeded and the team has since come back for check-ins and touch-ups. A recent customer said Roland and his team renovated their entire first floor, taking it down to the studs. The company says it has 14 years in business, and its website lists a service area of Fairfield County towns including Norwalk, Westport, Darien, Stamford and Greenwich. Its BBB grade is A+. A 2026 customer hired Rolandas and the Craftworks team for a major facelift of their home and wrote that his foreman, Andrei, managed the day-to-day work. That 2026 customer called the pricing fair and honest. In a 2024 review, a customer described a kitchen, living room and powder room renovation that involved tearing down walls, moving pipes and lights, and redoing floors. That 2024 customer said Roland stayed true to the budget, with any overages tied to their own choices or scope changes. A 2024 customer wrote that Craftworks took over after Serve Pro finished emergency remediation from a kitchen faucet leak, then built a custom kitchen hutch, rebuilt and expanded the kitchen island and refinished the hardwood floors. That 2024 customer said the company also assisted with the insurance claim process. A 2023 customer wrote that they had basically gutted an older house and the company rebuilt it, putting in steel beams, new siding and new windows, and switching from oil heat to a 4-zone heat pump system. In a 2015 Houzz review, a customer said Roland Reciuga rebuilt the cantilevered deck of their mid-century modern home, a job complicated by rotting rafters, and that the result was a mahogany floating deck with cable railing. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0634830, as active, held by Craftworks Construction LLC.
We cannot recommend Roland and his team more wholeheartedly! We had a vision, and Roland and his team made it come to life. They renovated our entire first floor, taking it down to the studs, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The craftsmanship and artistic execution are absolutely beautiful, but what really set Roland apart was the entire process. He was thoughtful, responsive, collaborative, and incredibly easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted, offered smart and creative solutions along the way, and cared about every detail—both the ones you immediately notice and the ones you don’t. A project of this scale could easily have been overwhelming, but Roland and his team made it feel manageable and genuinely enjoyable. They were reliable, respectful of our home, and clearly took tremendous pride in their work. Most importantly, we absolutely love the result. Our first floor feels completely transformed, while still feeling like us. We would work with Roland again in a heartbeat and recommend him without hesitation!
We engaged Craftworks to handle a gut renovation of our entire first floor and second floor hallway. All while we lived in the home. Their work ethic and honesty is only surpassed by their craftmanship. The team never missed a day, showed up every day on time, worked tirelessly throughout the project, and always brought an upbeat and kind energy to our home, keeping our space clean and safe at all times. When issues arose (which happens on any project of our size and complexity), the Craftworks team immediately identified the issues, proposed intelligent solutions with estimates that were ironclad and never exceeded, and fairly navigated a path forward - all while keeping the overall timeline. Every budget line item was transparent in scope and price, every discussion was open and commercially fair. No design or construction issue was too complicated to solve, including installing unique fixtures, designing and installing bespoke built-ins, and using novel materials. And since our project completed, the team has been back for customary check-ins and touch-ups without hesitation. We give our strongest recommendation for Craftworks.
We hired Rolandas and his Craftworks Construction team for a major facelift of our home, and we are elated with the results. From start to finish, Rolandas demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, and his foreman, Andrei, was exceptional in managing the day to day work with precision and care. The quality of the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. Communication was a standout throughout the entire process. Rolandas and Andrei were clear, responsive, and transparent before the job began, kept us well informed during the project, and followed up afterward to ensure everything was to our liking. Their pricing was fair and honest, especially given the high level of work delivered. The team was flexible when we added a multitude of adjustments or ideas to design, continuing to stick to timelines. It’s rare to find a contractor you can fully trust, but Rolandas and Andrei earned that trust at every step. We couldn’t be happier with the finished job and would highly recommend Craftworks Construction to anyone looking for high quality work and a truly professional experience.
Very high quality work. We brought them in for our kitchen and living room, and then had them back a year later to strip down and finish another room. Roland will give good advice as you work out the best solution for any challenges. Great team.
Highly recommend Roland and his crew. We had a recent renovation that involved interior and exterior work. His team paid close attention to details, open communication, punctual, and were able to problem solve when surprises came up. If I have another project, I would use Craftworks again.
