Septic pumping and leach-field work are central to what customers hire Felix, A Wind River Company to do. Based in Bow, New Hampshire, the company says it operates within the Wind River Environmental network and offers residential septic pumping, inspections, repairs, drain-field and system installation, drain cleaning and plumbing. Google lists 4.9 stars from 715 ratings; its BBB grade is A-. An August 2026 customer described scheduling and paying online, an on-time arrival and septic service completed in less than an hour. The report arrived within an hour after the team left, and texts covered arrival, progress and completion. Other customers described Rob Hall answering questions during pumping and explaining what he found. A July customer reported septic pumping and needing to replace the pump as well. In a June account, Jeffrey pumped and inspected the tank, then covered it again. Larger jobs have drawn both recommendations and a substantial complaint. In May 2026, one Reddit commenter reported paying about $18,000 for replacement including tank relocation. Another described a $17,000 job including design, with a waiver on well distance. A third said competing companies told them they could not match Felix on price. Those are separate commenters’ experiences, rather than a quoted price for another homeowner’s project. An April 2026 customer described a septic-system failure that January and said Wind River removed the existing leach field during its work. The customer paid for repeated pump-outs through April, reported that the excavation remained open despite written requests to secure it, and described delayed or unanswered communication. After multiple company contacts and a referral to legal counsel, reconstruction was eventually completed. Reimbursement for pump-outs and other mitigation costs remained unresolved when the customer wrote the review. A June 2026 customer also recalled an earlier technician trying to dig up the leach field despite a flagged septic tank. On the later visit, David Luleich spotted the flag and explained the work before and after service. Older accounts describe other specific jobs: Kevin L. installed septic risers and graded the surrounding yard in a June 2024 review; Rob Hall pumped a tank and cleaned its filter in December 2023. In April 2023, a customer said Joe Besk’s larger truck could not access the driveway, so he returned a few hours later with a smaller truck and completed the job that day.
