Felix, now operating as part of Wind River Environmental, is a New Hampshire septic company that pumps, inspects, repairs, and installs septic and drain-field systems, along with general drain cleaning and plumbing. It carries a BBB A- grade, and Google shows 4.9 stars across 715 ratings — backed by an unusually deep written record of 604 reviews. The through-line across dozens of reviews is one technician in particular: Rob Hall shows up by name in review after review, year after year, described as knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to explain what he found and how to keep a septic system healthy going forward. Other named technicians — Justus, Jeffrey, Paul, Kevin L. — draw the same kind of specific praise. Scheduling gets singled out too: reviewers describe online booking, text notifications when the crew is en route, and inspection reports delivered within an hour of the visit. On Reddit, homeowners comparing quotes for septic replacements reported other companies couldn't beat Felix on price, with actual jobs running roughly $17,000 to $18,000 including tank relocation or design work. The acquisition by Wind River Environmental is a live topic in the reviews themselves, and the read is reassuring: multiple 2026 reviewers who'd used Felix for years specifically say they haven't noticed any drop in quality since the change. One reviewer described hesitating to call again after a past visit — before the Wind River takeover — when a technician nearly dug into a leach field despite a marked septic tank location, but said their most recent service was handled well. Not every account is positive. An April 2026 review described a septic system that failed roughly two years after installation, with Wind River getting involved in resolving it — a legitimate concern for a company that also installs systems, not just services existing ones. Felix/Wind River is a strong, well-tested choice for routine septic pumping and maintenance on a New Hampshire property, with real depth behind the reputation — for a new system install specifically, it's worth asking directly about warranty terms and what happens if something goes wrong within the first couple of years.
“We used Felix (now owned by Wind River Environmental) to replace ours. Cost about 18k including tank relocation.”
“I reached out to a few places for quotes and multiple said that if I was going on price they were t going to be able to compete with Felix.”
“We used Felix for ours, similar situation but had a waiver on well distance. Total cost was 17k including design.”
Great service, advised when they would be here and was on time. Have used Felix for years and with Wind River buying them I noticed no change at all, still a great company to do business with.
Rob Hall was very friendly and answered all my questions when pumping my septic t9ank. Timely and efficient.
Rob Hall was fantastic. Highly recommend
Guys did a great job. We scheduled and paid online, which was very convenient. They showed up on time, serviced our septic system, and were complete in less than an hour. We received the report within an hour after they left. I received text notifications in regards to when the service team would arrive, their progress, and when they were complete. We are very happy with the service that we received. I would highly recommend to family and friends.
