Fence Appeal

A fence in a day, or two, or three. Fence Appeal, the Rocky Hill fence company, gets described by the clock: a 2024 customer had a 60-foot-plus cedar fence installed in one day starting at 8:30 am, a December 2023 Angi customer wrote that the crew arrived at 9AM, tore down the old fences and had a new one up by 3PM, and a 2025 Reddit commenter said a 6-foot vinyl privacy fence with two gates cost $11k and took them 3 days. The company says it has been in business since 2015. Chris is the name customers know. A May 2024 Google review calls him the owner, and reviews across Google, HomeAdvisor and Reddit describe him quoting, measuring and coordinating. In an August 2023 review, a customer said two other companies declined the job because of intricate cuts and slopes, and that Chris custom ordered the fence and later came back to finish the pool fencing in one day. A 2023 Reddit commenter called them the cheapest of everyone called and named Chris the foreman as easy to deal with. Recent jobs are similar. A June 2026 Google reviewer in Newington described over 400 feet of black chain link with every post concreted in. An October 2025 customer said the crew cleared bushes in the way, made the gate dog-proof and added a scalloped gate at no additional cost. A February 2025 reviewer said they came back on their own to replace a missing post cap. Two 2023 Google reviews are complaints. In June 2023, a 1-star reviewer called the quality of the fence poor and the work as well. In December 2023, another 1-star reviewer cited very bad customer service and low quality materials. Google shows 4.6 stars from 65 ratings, HomeAdvisor 4.7 from 14 and Angi 5.0 from 6. The company holds an active Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0667622, held under FENCE APPEAL LLC. Its BBB grade is A+.
