Fernwood Design is a Bolton-area home builder and landscaper. Houzz says the company has served Bolton and Harvard for more than 21 years and builds custom homes, handles remodeling, and enhances existing home exteriors. The company is run by partners Michelle Sousa and Terry Murtha, according to its Houzz profile. The written reviews are positive but old: in 2017, a Google reviewer called it a general contractor, landscape design, and renovations company; in 2018, a BuildZoom reviewer wrote, “Small firm but reliable.” Both were five-star reviews. Before hiring for a structural or residential remodeling project, ask for current Massachusetts registration details. BuildZoom says it could not verify a license and lists no active license on file; that is BuildZoom’s report, not a state registry verification. Fernwood may suit homeowners looking for custom building or landscaping in the Bolton and Harvard area. Confirm the current project scope and registration directly before booking.
